My story starts where fairy tales of the very best sort start. There's this cute little girl and boy running around with out a worry in the world. The blonde haired blue eyed girl steals the boys heart with her ten year old fierceness and sass. Her older and wiser prince charming is this tall twelve year old boy who can't help but notice her. After a good game of tag, an ice cream cone, and a long walk around the school playground they proclaim their undying devotion saying they will marry when Jordyn turns 19. Sounds crazy cool right ladies?! I'd buy those movie tickets!! Okay, okay~ I admit this is how I saw it happen in my head when Matt and Jordyn told me their story, and while these details aren't exactly how it happened, Matt and Jordyn's story is one that most little girls dream of. They did meet at 10 and 12. They fumbled through those early teen years, like the rest of mankind, but unlike so many others they grew stronger together. Then in a move of pure genius... Matt asked Jordyn to marry him. He asked in the place that the Lord had used to grow him into a man of faith and where Jordyn has learned to cling to the Lord as well. It's no accident that their wedding ceremony would be on these very same grounds at Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities. This beautiful June day didn't disappoint and neither will the rest of their love story that is unfolding before all of our eyes...

Matt and Jordyn your carefree and easy going personalities are so refreshing!! You didn't get caught up in the little things but kept your eyes on what mattered! What a privilege it was to serve you both. I just gotta say thank you!! I am one of your biggest fans! I believe you two will lean into each other~ remembering in ALL the things, that you are FOR each other! I see you standing on your husbands feet Jordyn with your shoes off clinging on to him as you let him lead you. Matt I see you holding, protecting, and fighting for her through it all!! I believe in you guys!!

Jordyn found this beautiful gown at Amy's Bridal isn't it just perfect?? These florals by Valentina Stelya were incredible too!

I love how throughout the day there was so much love, laughter, prayer and joy!

Shout out to Connie Delamora at Studio One in Kennewick for Jordyn's beautiful hair and makeup! So stunning!!

Can I just say it?! Aren't these two straight out of a James Bond movie?!!!

After a sweet first look, some portraits of just the two of them and a sweet prayer for the rest of their day, we got the celebration started by taking portraits of the bridal party. Such a sweet group of loving people!! They were so easy and fun to work with~ and gorgeous too!

After all the fun bridal party portraits it was time for the ceremony to begin!! It could not have been more beautiful!! Jordyn picked a time when the sun would give the sweetest softest light and every photographer dreams of this glowing light!

Jordyn's sweet Dad, Mike, broke his foot just a couple days before the wedding :( They didn't let it take away from the day though!! Jordyn and Mike still enjoyed their stroll down the isle, their sweet Father/daughter dance, and a great toast too!

We kept husband and wife portraits to a blazing ten minutes so that these two could enjoy their guests and dance together~ but in that brief time we were able to capture some beautiful moments!! Man you two are so beautiful together!! *insert all the emojis here* :)

Jordyn and Matt danced to 'And I Love Her' by the Beattles, and they made my heart melt behind the camera...I believe these two may be the sweetest couple ever!! Matt singing to her while she stands on his feet...seriously! Ok...these two are a fairytale and James Bond movie mix... They could be the next Hollywood genre :)

My prayer for you two is summed up in this image~ cling to each other :)

Then the music turned to a sweet song everyone knows and loves. Journey played 'Faithfully' and Mike and Jordyn made me tear up singing in harmony and dancing with beaming smiles.

When Matt and his Mom, Darcy, danced to Fleetwood Mac's 'Landslide', I couldn't listen to the words~ all I could do was try to capture these sweet moments through water filled eyes. I could see Matt singing to his Mom and I watched the expressions change on her face, and I wondered if the years had literally just flashed through her mind. All I could say is that I get it. Parenting is just one bittersweet step to the next bittersweet step. While I can't stop the time from cruising on, I hope these images hold the memories closer to your heart in a way that you can feel the emotion again and again.

Matt and Jordyn thank you so much for choosing us! We had the absolute best time!! We just love you guys so much! Can't wait to take pictures of you with your fur baby in the future! 😉
