If I had to define what made the wedding of Deborah and Skylar so special and give their day one word to describe it, it would be laughter. There was laughter at every turn. The kind that comes from a joy that has been fulfilled. Like a child at Christmas who receives a gift that they can't believe is really theirs. One that they had been hoping for but it felt out of reach. That is what this day felt like. The pure joy of these two getting married, of joining their futures, is that special gift that bubbled out of them and those who came to celebrate them, alllll day. It was marvelous. It was contagious. As I sat down to edit the images that filled my sd cards, I couldn't help but feel the joy of it again. I couldn't seem to stop editing- or to keep this blog post short. There are too many of those moments that made my heart full- it seems like a shame to not share it.

If you're not the type to get gushy at smiling happy people, you may want to click onto another page. This is about to get real mushy. Deborah had only been planning her wedding since she was four. ;) When she went on her first date with Skyler and he didn't shy away from the deep questions of who he really was, of what he wanted for his future, she was hooked. When you know you know. They both knew. I like that Deborah conquered fears to just hangout with him. Skyler's passion for dirt biking, wake boarding, and all things with a high chance of wrecking, was something she was willing to give a go to hangout with him. And Skyler let her have the wedding of her dreams. He was game for all the pictures, gave an ear to all the details, and did it all with that charming Skyler smile.

Deborah and Skyler it sure was such a joy to meet your loving family and friends! I loved hanging out with you throughout your wedding planning process and especially on your wedding day! It was such a JOY! Thank you for running with me in all your finery to capture the last minutes of my favorite light, for trusting me with my vision and for loving me! I am so blessed by you and I can't wait for our next adventure...maybe van shopping. ;)

These ladies had so much fun getting ready and this dress from Amy's Bridal Boutique was a bit of a challenge when things get put on out of order :)

There's always that one guy.... Sean. It's you.
