The Bar M Ranch offers a unique experience for a wedding day. The seclusion of this event center in the Blue Mountains is a refreshing escape from the ordinary. The beautiful mix of pine and fir trees towering within this little ravine where the Ranch sprawls out, suited the Powers' vintage inspired wedding perfectly. The barn, the Ranch House, and all the little details of their day just fit. The same can be said of Meg and Ford. When they started dating, they knew from the beginning that it was leading to this day, the start of becoming one and doing life as a team.
Meg and Ford have an uncanny way of making you at ease in their company. They laugh easy and their calm presence is such a joy to be around! The day was filled with that. Peace and joy. I feel so honored to have witnessed such a beautiful day where family and friends were filled with so much love and happiness! I mean this was a party. I haven't witnessed such a celebration where every guest danced the night away! It was the sweetest!
Meg and Ford you are so special to so many. Your faith and trust in the Lord has built your love for each other and for all those around you into a beautiful life. I know that He's not finished with you and I am so thankful! Keep doing your thing! You two are bringing #morepowerstoya!!
Enjoy this little sampling of your sweet day! Love ya!
Ford found this amazing crushed velvet tux on a trip to NYC that he made just prior to the wedding. He knew he had to get it and surprise Meg. Her love for vintage items made this tux a special detail and it was sweet to see her reaction during the first look! Meg's dress came from a Kennewick Wa. store called Threads Vintage Boutique. It had the most beautiful little button details that definitely shows the craftsmanship of a different era.
I love first looks! They really give the couple a minute to themselves. Time to take each other in! Let me tell you that Ford and Meg's was so incredibly sweet. I could have done a blog post just on their first look alone! The way they looked at each other! UGH!! The joy in seeing each other and finally being at this day. It was so awesome! It brings tears to my eyes remembering. They checked out every detail, they snuggled, and you can see they cherish each other. I wish I could show you the whole series of images. But I'm sorry you just get a glimpse.
See you want to see more don't you?? Well we went right into the rest of the day! Bride and groom portraits, fam photos, bridal party- and then the rest of the day! Enjoy!
I know you want more... last one though.
